Harking back to the atmosphere of the 20s, folding bar and away to the wall, beer bottles have been used as decoration ornaments and vintage used extensively throughout the interior. Environmentally sustainable plywood used for building tables, walls and space bar, and everything is modular and completely reusable. In addition, the bar set just five days and offers the ability to easily flat-packed in under it. Dog house was named the official winner Premise Competition on September 13, and opened its doors 24 days later.
A confidential 1920 Speakeasy-style pop-up bar recently appeared in Sydney’s Darlinghurst area. Dog house is a dream bar creation by Rob Melbournites Dumaresq and Hugh Gurney, and interior decorators Adele Winteridge of foolscap. Inspired by secrecy and concealment, the bar has been completed as part of this design competition Premise and features fold-away table, vintage ornaments, decorations beer bottles and materials more environmentally friendly.
