Looks elegant Simplicity Created by Nature AroundThis beautiful private home situated in a small hamlet in the district of Flemish Belgium, about 10 kilometers from the country’s third largest city of Ghent. Ghent-based architecture studio Wim Goes Architectuur beautifully designed extensions to this dwelling. Addition of wood sitting on top of a new wine cellar and expand some of the pond. The facade is made from thin pieces of wood selected for straightness of growth rings on each piece of wood. And although wood is still going to warp a little rain and sun, this does not cause structural problems due to the facade do not have to bear the burden of wind – the wind would blow right through the strip. Only a strip of wood structural loads must be brought is the vertical load from the roof. Natural wood with gray, green vegetation and blue sky and the pond to create a harmonious balance, accented by a thin vertical line the largest surface. Goes signature style combines a deliberate, unpretentious simplicity with the clarity of the functional, and results in a striking beauty.Via
