    I design libraries. You want sheving units that are mostly 8" or 10" deep, 12 " for oversized reference books and children’s books. You will also need magazine racks, newspaper racks, atlas/dictionary stand. Biggest problem I see is inadequate task lighting and not enough confy seating.
