Japanese Style Wooden House

This Japanese wooden houses, designed by Seiichi Kubo, Yoshinobu Kagiyama and Mining Muratsuji Archivi Japanese architectural firm Architects & Associates. Like the exterior, this timber-clad house (this is made mainly from local Japanese cedar and cypress growing Japanese) is too dominated by the the natural wood. Modern glass-wall floods the interior with lots of natural light, illuminating the living room open-to-top main covers an area of kitchen and dining room, which overlooked the second floor attic. From floor to ceiling (the ceiling wrapped in plywood lauan), this wooden house has a typical rural feel to it, with privacy as one of the main features of the design – your own great escape without having to leave home. Make your way up the stairs and along the second floor catwalk leading to a terrace overlooking the central atrium of the house, which is open, the garden enclosed by a sliding wall of glass that blur the boundaries between inside and outside. Every floor, every room has access to the deck space to make the most of nature. Situated overlooking the garden and Wakaura Bay, Japan landmark local, urban house enjoys stunning views.
