Design characteristics for the NRM, the site limits and lack of space encourages and challenges of home design. Living in kurakuen ‘by Osaka-based architect’s office NRM practices (and Tomoko Ninomiya shunichiro morodome) is a home-and work-live 2 floors located in hyougo, Japan. unusual sites, which tend, sandwiched between the fall of 5 meters to the east, south water canal, and 3 meters high climbing to the northwest, a key driver in the design process. This shelter is intended to navigate in a graceful and organic conditions.

large open volume is cut from the ground floor level to accommodate a three car garage. to both sides of the two independent entrance way into the house. west entrance is a long narrow staircase leading to first floor office area, east entrance, which is far more traditional set up the double-doors, open a corridor that connects the spine to the bedroom stairs leading indoor living, dining, and kitchen space.

communal programs utilizing natural daylight and uninterrupted sight lines provided by the second level. largely contained in an open concept, living / dining and kitchen space is flanked with floor to ceiling glass, offering panoramic views of the surrounding wooded environment. spacious terrace spaces equipped with a small shallow pond that wraps the corner behind the living room. shadow play resulting from perforated steel staircase
