California, Rural House Above the River

Which also happens to run wild is the river that runs below the house, something never done before or since! Kaweah Falls was originally designed in the 1940s by one of Frank Wright’s own students, but when the owner moved in and renovated the second house they decided to add an addition to the house floating on the river bank. Apart from some cool features such as the interior dining room with glass floor views of the river, there is a bridge over these waters leading to a private deck where people can sit and listen to the sound of fresh water skimming rocks on the way down river from the waterfall that was found right on the mountain .
